With over ten years of experience working within the beauty industry, Liana is a highly skilled beauty therapist. Her career has taken her from St. Andrews to Edinburgh to Cheltenham and now to Aberdeen. It was with this experience that Liana went on to establish Liana's Beauty Company in 2018.
Liana’s beauty company is luxury, sustainable beauty.
All of the products and treatments offered have been hand picked to ensure that every client gets the best salon experience whilst knowing that the treatment they have chosen does not have a detrimental impact on the environment.
Throughout Liana's career, it became apparent that the beauty industry generated a lot of unnecessary waste that unfortunately could not be recycled. Determined to change this, Liana made it her goal to create a sustainable beauty salon.
Liana's Beauty Company is a member of the 'Green Salon Collective.' This allows for the recycling of materials used in treatments. 100% of any money raised from recycling these raw materials goes to charity. These charities currently include: Foodcycle, Haircuts 4 The Homeless and Tree Planting.
The salon has also strived to find other sustainable alternatives such as changing standard waxing to sugaring, which is entirely biodegradable and the pots can be refilled rather than sent to landfill. Biodegradable towels are used throughout the salon to reduce the salon's laundry footprint and all nail polish bottles are sent away to be recycled.
It is important to Liana that most of the products used or sold within the salon are produced in the UK and Liana makes it her promise to keep up to date with the ever growing sustainable options so that clients can enjoy their usual beauty treatments guilt free.
